Customer service here has tanked recently and I was wondering why. I asked the receptionist if they were under new management, to which she ignored my question. I come here to see that my dentist isn't even working here anymore. Which is a shame because he would have never allowed things to operate like this. Isn't it customary to notify patients when there has been a change in providers? In addition to this, dealing with this office this week has been nightmarish. I was told we had to reschedule our appointment because we were running 5 minutes late. The hygenist wants us to allow them flexibility when they're calling and cancelling appointments the week of, but wont allow any flexibility for patients within a 15 minute grace period? (Which apparently no longer applies here) When i asked to speak to the manager Nicole, she got my side of the story, asked me to hold, and proceeded to hang up the phone, and never called me back! I called back the next day and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes! During my wait, I came here to do some investigating (suspicions confirmed), then I called again on my work cell only for them to answer promptly! This gave me the impression that I was purposely left on hold. Newsflash Kenwood Dental...you're not the only business in town! This is sad because this was one of the last black-owned dentist offices in the area that gave you that traditional old school professional dental office feel. Unfortunately, we will now be taking our business somewhere else. I dont willingly deal with poor customer service of this magnitude.

I love the entire staff. The place is extremely clean and they play great neo soul/ r&b music. Dr. Mensah is phenomenal. She is gentle and explained everything to me in detail. She’s patient and open to answer all questions and concerns.

Great staff, professional experience from the front office to the dental chair. Dr. Macklin and Dental Assistant Tiffany great care team. He came prepared and ready for the treatment. Need a dentist, come see Dr. Macklin at Kenwood Dental Group 1335 east 87th St.

I have been a patient of Dr. Maclin's for about 20 years (OMG). Dr. Maclin is such a great dentist. He has always been so informative and takes his time to explain everything going on with my dental health. He is the BEST!! I also have to shout out the beautiful ladies that schedule and reschedule all my appointments- Bri and Nicole are great!! Kim is also so helpful and sweet. She always greets you with a smile and she works hard to make sure all my insurance needs are taken care of!! Yall are the best, Joy
